Deforestaci\u00f3n, que obliga a las empresas a verificar que los productos vendidos en la UE no se han producido en tierras deforestadas, entr\u00f3 en vigor el 29 de junio de 2023 y tiene 18 meses para aplicarse.<\/p>\n<p>Con esta ley, la UE quiere garantizar a los consumidores que los productos que compran no contribuyen a la destrucci\u00f3n de los bosques y su biodiversidad, y reducir as\u00ed la contribuci\u00f3n de la UE al cambio clim\u00e1tico y a la violaci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n<p>Las empresas que comercian con productos de riesgo forestal est\u00e1n obligadas a ejercer la diligencia debida para evaluar su cadena de suministro, lo que supone una ardua tarea para reunir la documentaci\u00f3n necesaria.<\/p>\n<p>abunda pretende
